How long does the season run?

The season is dependent on field conditions and weather, but typically runs from the first week of May until the end of June.

 What time are the games?

Games start at 6:30PM for U7, U9 and U11 

Games start at 7:00PM for U13 and up

 How long are the games?

The games vary in length depending on age category, but typically range from 45 minutes at the U6 level up to 2.5 hours at the higher levels.

Here are the specific per game time limits for each age category:

• U7 - No new innings start after 45 minutes of play
• U9 - No new innings start after 60 minutes of play
• U11 / U13 - No new inning starts after 90 minutes of play
• U15 / U17 / U19 - No new inning starts after 120 minutes of play
• Super League (A Teams) - No new innings starts after 120 minutes of play

Where will games be played?

U7 will ONLY play on the Southside. 

U9 and up - will play all over Edmonton and surrounding areas including St. Albert, Beaumont, Sherwood Park and surrounding areas.

What equipment is required?

U7 & U9 - A glove, helmet with cage, infielders mask (U9 ONLY) and running shoes. Jogging pants, shorts and leggings are the preferred pants for this age (no jeans) All other equipment including bats will be supplied. 

U11+ - Batting helmet, Rip-it Fielders mask (required for pitchers and infielders), uniform pants, a glove and running shoes.  Softball cleats (no metal) and bats are optional.  Pitchers may prefer their own face mask, but team will supply one.

Are there playoffs in this league?

Yes for U9,  U11, U13, U15, U17 and U19. City playoffs are held at the end of the regular season and generally last 5 days.  Teams may also choose to compete in Provincials and Western Canadian playoffs.

U11 - Tuesday & Thursday

U13 - Monday & Wednesday

U15 - Tuesday & Thursday

U17 - Monday & Wednesday
